The best clothing to wear for you physical therapy appointments are work-out clothing or loose fitting clothes.
When you first visit Peak Point Physical Therapy clinic, our licensed physical therapist will go over your medical history and screen your injury. You baseline measurements of your strength, flexibility, and mobility will also be measured.
Then you will be provided with a brief treatment, followed by complete sessions in your upcoming visits.
Later you will also be given an appropriate home exercise plan.
At Peak Point PT, our experienced physical therapists work with you to mitigate your pain. Our end goal is to alleviate your discomfort and improve your functional mobility. For this, our staff continuously checks your pain during each session, so that we can reduce any unwarranted discomfort during your therapy.
Generally, every physical therapy session at Peak Point PT usually takes about 45 to 60 minutes, but that can go up to 90 minutes in certain conditions.
Every person’s injury and medical history is different. On a general note, patients undergo physical therapy for 1 to 2 months to regain complete functionality. But, depending upon the severity of disorder, a patient is seen to visit a physical therapy clinic 1 to 3 times a week.
However certain conditions require patients to appropriately undergo physical therapy for 2 to 3 months.
